Utilising 360 video and virtual reality to take audiences on unique Malaysian adventures

Maitree partnered with Borneo Adventure to produce a VR 360 branded documentary experience giving potential visitors to Malaysia an immersive taste of one of their most popular guided trails through the jungles of Borneo - the search for wild orangutans.

With local guide Paul hosting the adventure, the film takes audiences boating up the river into the beautiful forests of the Batang Ai - the site of the oldest Iban settlements in Sarawak. Staying the night with the Iban in a traditional longhouse, you can experience sharing a meal and hearing stories of the Iban’s connection to the orangutan in the forest.
